About
Digital systems built for business.
Monark Systems designs, builds and operates the digital infrastructure a business runs on. Not campaigns, not one-off websites — the systems that capture inquiries, communicate with customers, and keep the record of both.
01Position
A technology company, not a marketing agency.
Most businesses do not buy software so much as accumulate it. A website from one supplier, a booking tool from another, a CRM someone configured years ago. Each works. None of them work together, and no one owns the whole.
Monark exists to be the party that does own the whole. It builds the website, builds the systems around it, connects them, and keeps them running — so there is one architecture and one accountable owner rather than four suppliers pointing at each other.
02Focus
Two systems, deliberately.
Monark launches with a narrow offering on purpose. A short list that is genuinely operated is worth more than a long list that is merely advertised — and both of these are built and maintained by the same people.
03How Monark works
Commitments, not adjectives.
These are checkable. Every one of them can be verified on delivery rather than taken on trust.
- 01
The client owns the codebase
No proprietary page builder, no license that ends if the relationship does. The work is handed over in full, and it keeps running if Monark is not involved.
- 02
Accessibility is not an upgrade
Sites are built to WCAG 2.2 AA as standard — keyboard operable, screen-reader legible, contrast verified. It is not a line item to be cut.
- 03
Performance is a budget, not an aspiration
Pages are built against explicit performance budgets, and measured rather than assumed. A site that is slow on a phone on mobile data is not finished.
- 04
Scope before price
Nothing is quoted before the work is understood. Every engagement starts with a scoping conversation and produces a written scope.
- 05
One accountable owner
When something breaks, there is no question about whose responsibility it is. Hosting, monitoring and changes sit with the party that built it.
- 06
No claims that cannot be evidenced
No invented statistics, no borrowed logos, no results that cannot be traced to a client's own reporting. It is why the work page says what it says.
04Direction
Where this goes.
Monark is building a client platform: a single place for a business to see the state of its systems — site status, project progress, inquiries, support requests and invoices — instead of chasing a supplier for answers.
It is in development and is not available yet. It will be announced here when it is real, and not before.
